It's really nice place. Food is nice. Good quality ingredients. I like it. Service was very nice as well. Very clean tables and floor. Restroom was well maintained. The only thing I dislike was the smell, I would say it was chemical caused almost headache.
Parked the rig, used the restroom, ordered, ate, paid, and got back to the truck in less than 30 minutes. Ribeye & eggs with a side of pecan pancakes was about $20. I've driven past many times over the years but today was the first I had time to stop and eat here, and from now on, I will make time to stop if I have to. With how bad the corpo truck stops are letting us down lately, it's always a good day when I can find a truck friendly diner that still has good portions and is respectful of their customers' time. We need more diners like this one out here on the road.
A great little made from scratch cafe in Seymour, IN. I was happily surprised to see corned beef hash with eggs on their breakfast menu. It was fabulous with large portions. Went with friends and they got good food. Great service, friendly environment and decent prices for big portions!
This is one of the top of the line little restaurants left in America. I am a trucker they have truck parking i was fortunate enough to be able to get in get seated and order. The food is good home cooking comfort food. Ive ear marked it in my maps and sent pin drops to all my trucker friends. The servers are wonderful. The atmosphere is so welcoming. They know their regulars and remember their special orders. Stop by give them a try. Leave them good tips they earn every bit.
The cheese steak was delicious! As for the hashbrowns they could have been a bit more crisp. Service was super fast! Went back for dinner and had the delicious tenderloin sandwich and fries.... I couldn't get the sandwich in my mouth it was so big!
After walking out of Cracker Barrel because we sat for 20 minutes without service, we decided to check this place out. Within 20 minutes of walking in the door, our order was taken and food was served. This is a really nice mom and pop shop restaurant. The food was hands down 10x better than Cracker Barrel. The restaurant was clean and cozy. As we frequent coming to Seymour, this will be our go to.
The food was spectacular. From someone who ate at the Greenwood location for years, this brought back awesome memories. The service was wonderful, everything was exactly as we ordered with no issues. Quickly brought out. The location is clean, friendly people, and wonderful atmosphere. My family and I will definitely be back!
The parking lot was full, but still room to seat ourselves immediately. Server promptly took our drink orders, and then food orders... The atmosphere was nice with music in the background. Our food came out quickly and was absolutely delicious. Generous portions, so was definitely not disappointed. Highly recommend to anyone in or around the Seymour area, and to anyone driving on I-65.
Great customer service, waitresses nice and working as team, hostess really nice and the lady in the window handing out food and calling out orders is a true drill sergeant lol. Thanks for the great service
My boyfriend and I stopped here while we were on a little roadtrip. We both love a local diner vibe and this place did not disappoint. One of the biggest reasons we decided to try it is because they’ve been in business for 45. That’s pretty cool! The service was always really nice. Super clear that this is probably a place that locals just come to hang out after work. It was really easy to park right out front. We got the Variety Club with bacon and turkey, the Reuben, and a Boston Crème pie. The food was all yummy. All in all just a really great experience!
